I wonder if the AI will produce instant stacks out of nowhere? I wish one some level atleast, that they don't. I like to slowly devour my enemy but fighting stack after stack produced right out of thin air, is annoying.

There is an army limit in Rome II. So I doubt it.
unless the royal families of your enemiesmore than most characters in your average hentai i don't think you will be seeing constant full stacks.
I don't have a link, but a dev said that the AI didn't spawn stacks out of nowhere in Shogun 2, except for the Shogunate, rebels, and pirates if I recall correctly.
They said that but in FOTS at turn 12 I had already been attacked by a 10 unit army half of them build time 2 samurai and a 20 unit one poped up on my border. Both were from the same city...
Tell me how an army can produce 30 units (Half take 2 turns to build) in 12 turn with 1 providence if they don't spawn out of nowhere.
My mods
-Mod Leader for the Wheel Of Time This is not the beginning, but it is a beginning
-Mod Leader for Shogun 2: Foreign Invasion if you want a mod with alot of units this is for you, not only is there the 40 units CA made theres planned to be atleast 177 NEW units when its done.
-Modder in the World War I and Shogun II project. The only full scale mod for FOTS and it plays nothing like FOTS. FOTS may have Gatling guns, WW1&S2 has tekidanto samurai, SNLF, MGs, kisho snipers, assault infantry(shotguns) just to name a few.

Geeze I wonder how CA deals with people who simply spread and post false information. There's been never ever anything except for rebellions that allowed the AI to spawn stacks out of thin air. It has to do with the fact that the AI on higher difficulties have more recruitment slots which allows them to rebuild armies faster and we don't see the armies unless we have scouts in close proximity. And If you've been on this board for some time I kinda question how you miss the whole Army limit thing.
We won't have to worry about stack spam anymore, mate. Just watch out you don't lose your stack. You won't have many of them early on and why am I under the impression that there is a set amount of turns you have to wait before raising another army back up in it's place when you lose it? I think I heard that somewhere. Like Jack had said, it's all about managing your armies and how many you want defending and attacking. If you lose one, you have to re-route another to it's location.

The AI might not spawn stacks out of nowhere, but they spawn money out of nowhere, and they have more recruitment slots. Its basically the same thing. Its the only way the AI can compete with a competent player, AI is simply not advanced enough.
