Thus, fans will be able to order a modified game of DLC. The game according to their needs. CA gets a good financial aid, as well as draw conclusions and better understand that it is necessary players.
List of privileged fans will be on the wall of the site, as well as a list of their suggestions. And everyone can vote for them.

Sry £35 pounds is more than enough for me for the base game. All this approach does is encourage them to make a substandard game and then charge loads to make it playable. Plus who pays 120$ for a game?

Pay extra money to force a new feature into the game? That would not work, the majority of suggestions made by fans are flawed by design and mods are good enough for implementing certain features that would not suit the majority of the player base (like ultra-realism mods, language mods (native names for units) etc...)

And the extra money that you would have to pay in order to get your suggestions in the game would have to be exponentially higher than 60$+, and why allow one rich person from the fanbase dictate what should be in the game just because he's got the money for it?

If they let us vote on what DLC comes next that would be more interesting.

I just hope they bring out culture packs. Say 2 or 3 factions per pack, something as follows:


Hellenic: Seleucids, Baktria

Eastern: Armenia, Saba

Barbarian: Iberians, Getai/Dacians

Or a retro pack, where all of the factions from RTW 1 are made playable.

Whatever, I just REALLY hope they make Numidia playable they are cool!

It would have to be a very large market to justify the costs involved in creating a DLC. How many fans would be in the collective? How many sales of a DLC are required to break even?
