This is a request to CA to provide as with a list of the historical battles that are going to be included in Rome2 total war.
Also make your list of your favorite historical battles that you want to be included in Rome 2 total war.

    My own favourites

    Battle of Alesia
    Battle of Pydna
    Battle of Cynochephalae
    Battle of Cannae
    Battle of Zama
    Battle of Wattling Street
Siege of Jerusalem (the first revolt)
    Siege of Masada
    Battle of Pharsalus
    Battle of Munda
    Battle of aquae Sextiae

Oh mean, Wattling Street is a must! That would be the perfect battle to sit back and watch the beautifully orchestrated animations in game!

I can't be sure, but I think the Battle of the Nile may be included.

I'm pretty sure the Battle of Teutoberg Forest won't be in game, but I really hope it is.

I'd like to see Magnesia or Chaeronea.

I reckon that they will have different historical battle types (Ambush, Siege, Open Battle, Naval etc).

We've already seen the following so they will almost definitely feature:

    Teutoberg Forest (Ambush)
Battle of the Nile (combined Land and Naval Warfare)
The Siege of Carthage (Large Scale City Siege)

As for other possibles, I would think that Cannae, Zama and Pharsalus could be safe bets.

Since Jerusalem is not amoung the unique cities I don't think we'll see a Siege of Jerusalem Historical Battle.

Since it was such an ingenius and exciting siege battle I would love to see Alesia in there, but my feeling is that, with the two faceted investment employed by Ceasar, it would be simply too complex for CA to implement as a Historical Battle. I've love to be wrong but my feeling is that it wont be in there!

We may also see some historical naval battles such as Actium between Rome and Egypt.
