Hey guys, i have another a prob, i can fix this error with change timezone and delete some files in data etc. But now he is another here^^ my army were attacked by gondor the general is faramir ca 1800 soldiers.

Is a not a city fight im harad. no reinforment on both sides

What are your system specifications? On your keyboard, press Windows key + R, and in Search box type in : dxdiag. We need this info: your CPU( processor and ?GHz) , type of GPU ( graphics device and ?GB) and amount of RAM. I couldn't answer your PM yesterday due to forums acting weird again.

Hmm.. AMD CPUs, Total War games and AMD don't like each other that much, Intel outperforms them by large. Did you have any Mumakil in that battle? Mumakils death animation can give you CTD..

Delete map.rwm file again in M2TW/ mods/ Third_Age_3/ data/ world/ maps/ base folder, and delete 27 *strings.bin files located in M2TW/ mods/ Third_Age_3/ data/ text folder ( at the top of window you click on Type of file and you will get these 27 * strings.bin files).

Lower all Video Options.

You are not using any TATW submod?

Now i play Dwarfs, i will take a bandit city with not much units and i crashes wtf._.
i have the files deleted but i will crashes again again^^

Mmhmhm I play on maxed out but i run bf3 on high i think its enought for third age at maxed out? and i hate low setting -.-

now i will play the game first in vanilla, 2 the submods are english and dont work with german translation( not all the most^^) so i can lern to play

Total War titles, especially RTW and M2TW, were made for Intel CPUs mostly. And, M2TW Engine can use ONLY ONE CORE, that means the rest of your cores are not used when playing M2TW/Kingdoms submods.

AMD CPUs are awful when it comes to Total War titles. They're loaded up on threads (lots of weak threads) and a single superthread would be ideal (intel is the closest to this with their quad core i5s, I have one in my PC).

AMDs are pretty down the list.

You can try to increase performance by lowering Video Options, and, using some of the tips from here ( LINK ), and you can use this FPS Booster: LINK.

ok also u think its my cpu? mhm can i get use all 4 cores ? i download the fps booster so and the tipps i dont know that this is english is not so easy for me what the do the programms at first link?

There is no way to get M2TW to use all four cores, it is built like that. Ask Sega and Creative Asembly Team to fix it....
