Default How to edit unit/building stats?

There are a bunch of little things about the game I'd like to change, and none of the existing mods change them.

Essentially, I want to edit building stats to make farms provide much more food per turn, and unit stats to improve cavalry charge bonus and archer accuracy (I'm really sick of seeing 100+ arrows rain down on an army and only kill 2 guys).

Could someone explain to me how to do this? Sorry if this is detailed elsewhere, I've been looking around and haven't seen anything.

It's when people with power, and those who flatter them, hide in safe places and extol war--people who force patriotism and self-sacrifice on others, sending them to the battlefield to die. For the sake of peace in the universe, before we continue this fruitless war... mustn't we first start by exterminating such evil parasites?"

It's very simple. If you use PFM.
For the farms, look in the buildings_to_effects_junctions table and for the units look in the units_stats_land table. Everything you want should be in there, you just need to look for it.

If you use the assembly kit, good luck.

I don't use anything. Haven't tried to edit a TW game since Medieval 2.

Anyway, I've installed PFM 2.4.1 and have it up and running.

    1. I'm not seeing buildings_to_effects_junctions... did you mean building_effects_junction? Because that looks like it will work for me.

    2. I'm not seeing specific unit names (like "Bow Samurai") listed in the units_stats_land table. Where should I be looking?

    3. Also, I assume SHO is Shogun 2's normal campaign and GEM is the Rise of the Samurai campaign... so is bos the Fall of the Samurai campaign?

As for the unit stats, you'll have to read a little more carefully. That table doesn't use the unit's names as they appear in game. For example, "Bow Samurai" would be "Inf_Missile_Bow_Samurai". The vanilla units are fairly well named so you should be able to figure it out.

As for the building_effects_junction, lol i mispelled. Derp
