Equipments and weapons used in sieging cities?

There may be underground mining methods to collapse the enemy's walls like in the first Rome Total War but i'm pretty sure that if there are, people will complain about how it only takes 5 mins from when you start mining to collapse the enemy's walls whereas realistically it would a hell of a lot longer.

Well, people will also be complaining about how you can destroy enemey walls with artillery, when in reality it could take half a year or might even never happen

I hope it will take at least 20 to 30 minutes before the wall collapse using undermining method.

I just hope there are ladders for army that is sieging.

In every siege, i always build ladders.

I think siege equipment improvement is factored into the research tree.

I always went under the assumption that sapping (the tunneling method) was set up before hand. The time was just waiting for the supports to burn.
