The team used the M2TW's basic elephant model, simply because creating new models and animations would require a lot of additionnal work.

The main difference is the domed head as far as can see.

Sorry for highjacking the thread a little, I read a thread over at the org on the same topic and got an idea, but I don't have an account over there. How's the recruitment of Elephants handled in EB2? I'm especially thinking of Epeiros and Macedon. Since they historically only where gifted or captured elephants from the other diadochoi, and wasn't able to reinforce them at all, would it not be possible to use the mission feature to give them Elephants now and then instead of recruitment(was proposed by Ca Putt).

My own idea is that maybe also they could be led by a mercenary general, so when the general dies the elephants disappear, simulating the elephants getting too old for warfare?

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to
    (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks.
