If you don't pre-order you probably won't get the bonuses.

It's probably not too late to call your local GameStop/best buy/Walmart and pre order. Tuesdays are normally when they get new games in so it will almost certainly be in by the 3rd.

The retailers that will be selling you the game will likely not be in control over particulars like shipping and time of delivery, which would be the responsibility for the respective shipping companies that they use to supply their stock.

So no one really knows, weather, fuel, and even war could affect the rate of delivery. Otherwise you can opt for the more expensive shipping options if there are any...if you feel like spending another thirty bucks.

Most likely the game will be shipped on the release date to ensure that people don't receive the game before, because if they got it before it would get the retailers in a lot of trouble with Sega.

In some areas and with amazon prime, you can qualify for release day shipping (free).

If you do not see that option, it will ship on release day, and arrive relative to your shipping method (super-saver will arrive in weeks).

In my experience any self-respecting store will have the game in your hands when the game launches, usually by sending it the day before. Some stores will only ship on the actual day of release though, so you should definitively contact whichever shop you are getting it from to makes sure what their policy is.

there re 2 reasons for these data though

1. they arent really allowed to name an earlier date than the official release date
2. they re also overly cautious because nobody can really guarantee when a package arrives and they dont want to make people mad with broken promises.


however, my personal experience is that they ship the games so that i always get them 1 day before release or exactly on release day

No probs. But since you mentioned about trusted retailer, you can well trust amazon and that they would not gobble your money. And I think they do have an offer or a service where the game gets to your doorstep on the release day, so just drop a mail to their CS and you'll get the answer.

Amazon have given me free first class delivery for my preoder on Rome II. It should be here on the day and they've always been reliable in the past with other games I preordered from them.
