Default Do minor cities also have variations?

Do minor cities also have variations just like capital cities? How many variation per culture?

I do also like to see minor cities... Aside from that, are we still going to see different types of unique cities? I believe those 5 are just the most popular, so are there still more unique cities?

If you seen the picture of Massalia growing, then there would be 5 city types (sizes) for each culture (4 cultures and 3 barbarian sub-cultures) on top of that there will also be the city location on the map itself which will make each one fairly unique. But this would at worst give us 20 different city types and 5 unique ones. They DO make it sound like there are only 5 precisely unique cities, while the rest may fall under the generic category. So at worst, 25 different cities (where the other 20 will be unique depending on location. I would have liked more finely crafted unique cities but this is still fine.

There are 4 broad cultures according to CA
    Barbarian, Roman, Greek, Eastern
There are 49 generic maps for settlements according to Will CA, so within a culture, there will be about 12 different potential settlements, not 1 set pattern like in Rome 1, plus as they said, vegetation is randomised
Each settlement will have unique territory surrounding it thanks to its position on the campaign map, also the buildings you construct will help give towns a specific character
So there is a lot of variation

So there are 57 provinces... Does that mean there are 3 more unique cities? I'd be cool with that.

No this is 49 different variations (but don't forget each one of these can grow and change depending on what you build) spread over the 168 different settlements (173 - the 5 unique ones). Thus you know there will be some repetition (about 3 times each - this is much better than the 30 times each in RTW). They stated that while only province capitals will be walled cities, there are different battle modes/maps for the others. There will be village battles, port battles, and other modes. These are included in the 49 maps total. For an example of a wall-less village battle look at Syracuse in the 'find a way' trailer.

I learned that there are 29 types of cities in the game...Does it only applies to capital cities, or does it include minor cities as well?In one province, do minor cities vary from each other?P.S. - I hope 3 barbarian subculture capital cities varies from each other....

Minor cities don't have battle maps. Presumably they'll grow on the campaign map though. We can build buildings in them and so on.
