it is very bad when the "spyware" sends info about my hardware and here is the biggie, all my software, not just origin games, on my pc to their servers. it actually run scans on your pc without notifying the end user. if the spyware can do that, it can monitor everything I do on my pc. no thank you.
steam isn't guilt free when the most recent survey ask for hardware info + software info, which I declined. see that, I get the option to decline it! it doesn't scan + send all that info without my consent, ever. when and if it ever does, I am sure some class action lawsuit lawyers would love a piece of the pie that is gabe newell + steam, he is a billionaire.
that, is the huge difference between spyware and proper gaming content delivery.

It works untill you need to reinstall something, or contact the support. And as long as you dont live in a county with multiple official languages.

Given my experience with EA accounts even without using Origin, I'll steer clear of it, thanks. Heck, I launched Burnout Paradise only to be forced to enter login details. It then takes them half an hour to change my password, and I discover that my previous "EA" account is now an Origin account (though I assumed that had happened anyway, just never checked). Turns out after all that I didn't even enjoy the game. Well, I've still got Mirror's Edge and Dead Space out of this to play.
To be honest, the main reason I don't want Origin is I already have a gaming client running in the background. Considering that Gamersgate and GOG exist as competition to Steam without giving additional clients, why would I want Origin? The only benefit to it is that it's the only way I can play modern EA games; which I don't want to play anyway!

Had the same problem with my previous EA account, that I don't remember making.
But, a new account and five minutes later, all is good.
Anyway, there's isn't much going with Origins, but I really don't mind. I got Steam for that.
At least, Origins got a "Hide game" button, something I would like for Steam.

Will the keys expire if i don't use them??
And, is there a guide for troubleshooting for Origin?? (just in case)
Thanks!
