Executable.bat not working?

Hello I recently bought medieval 2 total war (gold) from amazon (so no disks) and I updated to 1.5 and got all the kindgoms campaigns to work, but after insalttling the westeros 0.53 thru the automated installation, everytime I try to start the gane thru the shortcut or the exucubable a notepad pops up telling me this: @echo off

What have I done wrong?

R u clicking on the black and orange symbol? If so then click the blue and white one above. If not then I can't help u.

Why would you execute a bat? Is it a traitor to the realm?

Are you waiting for it to load? What it is doing is launching the mod through the medieval engine, which can take a few minutes.

Try downloading enhanced submod instead! I have the same problem with 0.53! Otherwise you have plenty of submods that are way better then the original 0.53! kings of rivers hills is the best one and both badgers fire and blood and my own windsofwinter is decent as well!

I'd recommend downloading Dux's YoungBloods files. they are the least buggy/most complete War of Five Kings files (located inside the enhanced thread. Speaking of, that thread really should be stickied)
