meh Hannibal looks like a barbarian doesn't seem like someone from north africa but looks cool non the less and i can live with it, Cleopatra looked awesome(prettier XD) in the concept art but in the trailer looks kinda weird and varus looks like a pansy with that helmet, it could use some pelts around the neck given that Germania isn't really that hot, and it would make him look more like a roman commander, but thats just my humble opinion XD.

Kind of biased orientation by CA in depiction of Romans vs barbarics , that instead look better and more detailed and focused models ... romans got instead generic and bland work , lacking the same attention to detail and cool aspect ... especially bisible in the selection screen of the Roman factions were they most look ugly and nothing special seems .

They are not random. Scipio is used only in siege of Carthage videos, and only ever leading the troops. James Russell even introduced him as 'the young Scipio Aemilianus'
They did have Caesar/Mark Anthony saying 'they must be punished in a lot of videos' because it's a good quote, however his model is only shown in videos relating to Egypt ... he is also consistent

For example, you see in the Nile gameplay when they opened up diplomacy with the Egyptians and they spoke to that guy representing Egypt? Do you think that the Roman guy we're seeing is in the equivalent position that that specific Egyptian was in? So for someone playing as a different faction, they would see that guy representing Rome in diplomacy?

Well is no problem if you refuse to see the evidence because I posted to you , but then just look ... evidence , that guy model is used everywhere just as DogSoldierSPQR stated as well .

Also the Model of Scipio to me looks just like the many soldiers used around and at the time of the first Carthage video they had much less variety .

Also look how most of the Generals do have the same faces in the preview faction choice screen , actually Carthaginian family members and Roman do have the same faces .

I am not at all sure how you decided Varus looks ugly and purposely was made to look ugly, while Arminius was made to look attractive. Frankly they both just look look like CG generals too me, but then again I dont search for hidden messages in game trailers and think CA is behind some secret conspiracy to shaft the Romans. The Romans are generic? Once again lmao. If the Romans were truly generic, then why did CA bother implement reforms for their army, why didn't they just give them just the stereotypical lorica segmenta wearing soldiers only?
