Default Decisive Battles of the Ancient World

If you have not watched this show, then you have not lived. Using the original Rome: Total War, the History Channel created a show detailing decisive battles of the ancient world.
    Here is an example:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8YBTHNhkaQ
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG45cvaVU20

On top of informing people of this awesome show (which is cancelled sadly), I had a question and would like to get your opinions.

Should CA get some sort of deal with the History Channel or BBC re-making this show with Rome II? I have a feeling the show would 100x better and people would blow their butts off.
    What do you think?

It would be awesome if the community could do something like this. We would need:

    • Some historians to create a script
    • A narrator with an awesome voice to read the script
    • Two people to play the battles according to the script
    • An experienced editor who can create a high quality video from the replay file, cut certain scenes, and add music....all according to the script.

I wouldn't mind writing a script and maybe footage but my editing skills are not super. Not terrible but not T.V. level good

Produce something like this and I'm sure people will watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wISXDn8qyiY

Also someone who can mod and run the game to create huge armies like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZX93zR4xUA or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZ5V42zI9Xc

Also some people to interview and look/sound all academic-y.

Also stock footage of green fields...

I vote for Brian Blessed! If he's up for it anyways. He did the narrating for the Alexander historical battles.

I hate to admit it but achilles hit the nail on the head, the History channel has become the "redneck" channel, though keep in mind the shows that are on there are made with ACTORS with fake accents.. all they do is humiliate the south and make southern U.S. culture look barbaric and unattractive.

On-topic, I think its a pretty good idea it would be interesting to see what they come up with.

It would be rather funny bloopers for the show, like if the Romans beat Hannibal at Carrhae (Or whatever battle it was) because the Roman player was more skilled...
