A Princess Comes of Age

I used to get these messages when I used to play, though my game seems to have stopped giving me them. When a faction leader dies I get the notice, just not for the princesses.

Do I need to reset something to get the messages again? I'm using a fresh 6.4 install with almost nothing else.

I don't get the princess messages either.

I had a family member pop out 4 of them and knew nothing of it. Luckily I make a habit of checking the panel lists.

I mean the messages for princesses from other factions.

Earlier versions of Stainless Steel had the princess message. SS 6.4 does not have it by default. You probably upgraded your SS version when you installed SS 6.4.

That feature seems to be a script from an old version of SS. If you want it back,you will probably have to find the old version of SS that still had that script in it and reapply it to SS 6.4. This may be very difficult, especially if that script was in a really old version of the game.

If I remember right 6.3 has it, 6.4 doesn't. But no idea which file it is.

I always found them helpful when searching for potential brides for my faction heirs.

Those messages, princess comes of age as well as faction leader dies suck up a lot of turn time though sometimes your better off without if you want a game that wont drag you through the hell of down time.

Plus I swear although I haven't had my vanilla mtw ss6.4 game for a couple months

I think I was still getting them...I know some sub-mods do cut out a lot of that extra script.
