Medieval_TW has stopped working

It was running PERFECTLY, but out of nowhere it seems to crash after the opening titles.

My graphics card is a Radeon Sapphire HD 7770. And I use Windows 7 64 bit.

I've tried reinstalling it, changing compatibly, removing firewall etc. None work.

Create the empty text file "skipcredits.txt" in the medieval total war directory - which is usually e.g: C:\Program Files (x86)\Medieval - Total War\

Start the game - there should be no credits - see what happens, etc...

It skips the credits, then crashes. I think I tried something similar before.

Well that eliminates the opening videos as a possible cause if nothing else... it was worth a try.

No experience with running that game on newer hardware and no clue about windows either though, sorry. You might want to ask for help over at totalwar.org
