Default RTR platinium CTD on Seleucid turn

    Hey guys,

I'm suffering from a non-passable CTD when the computer calculates the Seleucid turn. I know I have to run the game with some kind of command line but I don't know what that is and what I should be looking for. I was kind of hoping I would be allowed to start this thread to help me fix this problem (if possible).

    What should I do first?

Go to your RTR shortcut, right click it and go to properties.
In the "target" section type -show_err after the quotes.
Load up your game, when the CTD happens there *should* be an error message that pops up on a black screen just before you see your desktop.

If, after adding the -show_err command switch, there is no error messages, it's likely you'll have to reinstall

    Moved to RTR Platinum sub-forum.

    1. What year are you in? There is a known CTD that occurs in 66BC. It will be solved in RTRPE v1.7.
    2. What version of RTRPE are you using?
    3. Are there any rebeling cities? If so, try moving in some troops to stop them from rebeling. It might solve it.
    4. Also, about try using the toggle_fow command and whatch where exactly does the CTD occur.

For the use of show err and toggle_fow see this post:
