Captain Planet is a kid's show. It is aimed at that demographic so the characters in it aren't exactly going to have the power to kill their enemies with eye lasers.
LOL the topic is an absolute crackup! :tooth:
I like it.
But unfortunately I can't really remember much about cartoons.
'Wonder-Twin Power"? That was a cartoon about these twins with matching halves of a ring.
"Penis Power"? :hmmm:
Dunno mate!
EDIT: Oh I just remembered 'Rubber-Man' who could stretch himself unbelievably. That is pretty crappy in my books, but he did a lot of things with his rubberiness.![]()

Haha, love. That sucks - kids don't want to see love, they want to see bad guys explode. So do I actually - sky television is brilliant.

When Bird-Man was about to embark on a mission he would yell "BIIIIRRRRDDDDDMMMMMAAAANNN!!!!!!" like some kind of baritone opera singer.
That was a pretty crappy power.
His Icarus wings were OK I guess.
Melting man. (not the increadible melting man from the movie, but an animated doll from a kids show that was realy just a parody on all the "super hero" shows)
He basically had the "power" to melt.
This wasn't usefull in any way, since it didn't effect any other characters.
And IIRC he couldn't restore to his original state within an episode, he just melted down to a puddle and wasn't able to do anything after that. (so he basically just had the power to destroy himself)
Ha! That's pretty crappy. "Maybe I'll just stay alive by.....melting.......and.......staying out of the way........."
Jokes were abound when the craptastic Four was released in theaters last year.
One joke I remember fondly...

Oh come on. Love can make people do dumbass things. That has to count for something.
And Captain Planet actually had a very impressive array of powers: He can fly, has great strength, the ability to blow hurricane force winds, telepathy, telekinesis, can change shape, transmute matter, and virtually any other super-power required by the circumstances currently facing him. Which made for a very interesting show(or so I thought when I was seven years old).
Also, he had a green mullet.
