As I said in the video's comments a bit too aggressive gameplay to my liking, but then again, who likes turtling Mordor?

You get the free upkeep ability when you have buildings allowing free unit slots (you have these), but you have to have the ability to recruit units of the same type you want to give the free upkeet ability, so build more advanced barracks.
