    Default Quick question

    hey,

    i've just built a new computer i'm not a gamer or anything but i'm gona be getting rome 2, just wondering if a gtx 650 ti will run it ok? if so what setting
    it includes i5 and 4gb ram

    Which i5? And at what resolution will you be playing it at?

    ok i got
    i5-3470 (3.2GHz) 6MB Cache
    and i have just got a new monitor which is 1920 x 1080

    You will be easily able to run Rome 2. But at your native resolution you might have to lower your settings a bit as on extreme settings the fps might drop below 50 or 40 in some locations. Otherwise you have nothing to worry about. It won't be that different from shogun 2 as they have the same 3D engine:

    hey! thanks v.much for that, i was just checking because the pc is still in production and i could amend it but from this i guess i'll leave it! cheers

    No problem. In the figure you can see that 660 graphics card is doing pretty good so if you can spend some more money on it then i would advise you to purchase GTX 660Ti graphics card rather than 650 which you're buying right now, you won't regret it.

    He's not into gaming that much and we're not sure of his budget. 760 is about 70$ more than 660Ti if i'm not mistaken.

    yes youre right the 760 is £79 more! there is 660 but no 660ti on the site i may consider the 660 then?

    You're British? From where you're buying it? I recently helped a friend from UK buy a PC, check out his thread.

    And see the benchmark above it's definitely better then 650. So go for it if you can't find Ti, Ti version is better though and you should buy that if you can find it.
