Nice Video all same and even better in HD
great video, great find
thanks a bunch
Very good video.
So very good info in it.
Wow some of the gameplay in that video looks awsome. I hope that is what the game is actually going to look like. I am going to have to build a whole new system to play this at high settings with decent frame rates.
awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I will kick some english ass in braveheart style ;D
Interesting viewing, it's nice to see the stuff they talk about in the development diaries actually in the game.

As always, high-res videos are greatly appreciated.
Having watched the second and third video chapters, I am somewhat worried.
- The only provinces shown in the castle and town video are all on flat ground and look relatively identical to RTW provinces on the battle map.
- The Pope and his Cardinals definitely look like the Roman Senate, and the power to declare Crusades on certain cities could have easily been implemented in RTW if the human player, with a majority in the Senate, could have chosen provinces for his Roman allies to capture.

Wait.... are you suggesting that the feature of one game is being retooled and used again in the following game of a series.... no...... you must be joking.Originally Posted by Pnutmaster

Your sarcasm aside (), that has been the talk of the town and i'm only confirming that, as we thought, the retooling is indeed happening.

Video Chapter 4 Real AI maneuvers and strategems
In this chapter we give an indepth look at the new genetically based TW AI. Dynamic heuristics dependent on success against the player(s) against the rest of the net abound. Revealed is a evolving AI, one that breeds traits with other successful AIs against players that have uploaded their own version. Never again will you both with a general trying to do a master flank by heading straight into a wall of pikes. Watch in awe as the general stays behind his army, and uses 2 calvary units to drive off your skirmishers, and pin your infantry against his inferior infantry. Or a complex hem-in maneuver that lurers your infantry inwards only to be surrounded in a Hannibal-style defeat. Ah yes.. too difficult? Too bad.
Well it'd be nice.
I highly enjoy these HD movies. Thank God they added in the movies again. Those made STW worth the price just because of those!

wow that was amazing.
Though I wonder if there will be special "ports" for Crusading armies. How will the English get to the holy land without ships?
Also I noticed on the scroll where you call Crusades that Baghdad is indeed present. Thank you CA.
this is the greatest video ever!!! units are really great =) and i am amazed that HRE attacked Venice withsuch a small army lol =)

once again I will say it out loud - it pains me to see that this game will be a major kick a**, and they ignored such factions as Bohemia and Lithuania...
ok ok I know there will be mods... but I really start to wonder WHY. WHY do we have to wait for MODS to REALLY play the game? ah?
whatever...
the vid is.... the whole feeling.... the look of it... oh man... and it is still 2 months to go... and maybe even 3... (I could almost bet on that they will shift the release date to xmas)
Well actually you'll find that most people who buy the game couldn't care less. They'll just play it as a game and enjoy it or not enjoy it.Originally Posted by Giurza

Lithuania!?!?
Dude who freaking CARES! Including every tiny do-nothing principality in the world would be a joke for this game- go play Crusader Kings or EUII if this is what you want.
Bohemia and Lithuania were more powerful by far than several included factions, including but not limited to: Milan, Portugal (at least until the establishment of the Portuguese overseas imperium), and The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. These "do-nothing principalities" had immense influence on Eastern European politics, much more than factions such as Milan, which was only important because of the French claim on it in the Early Renaissance.Originally Posted by dearmad
Well would you rather they be in the game more than , the aztects , english, scots , turks etc?Originally Posted by Phaedo
tbh ive never heard of lithuania or bohemia, there are faction limits, id rather see countries i no about than others ive never heard of
What is the big deal? Including every single tiny faction is what mods are for, CA has NEVER EVER bothered to do that. It took bkb and XL mod for mtw1 to flesh out the factions roster, and the same will be true for MTWII. Dont look forward to unlimited replayability with vanilla, for unlimited replayabiltiy you need to mod your games...
Hell yes I want lithuania and bohemia, and norway, and serbia and bulgaria and all those other factions they didnt include. So do a lot of other people, which is why im not worried about waiting too long to start seeing these facion additions mods.
