    Default Unit Merging Texture Question

Noob looking for help on unit merging. How do you map a new addition to a model ([fake examples] merged a human_spear_shortshield_lod0.mesh (deleted the short shield) with a human_sword_longshield, (deleted everything but shield), merged with GoM's converter), I need to add a texture to the new longshield, how would you do that without having to do the whole texture from scratch?

Why don't you upload some sreenshots from milkshape so that we better understand what you want.
