Default HDD corruption after changing power supply.

So I had a pretty good 630W power supply but I recently bought a gtx 770 so I wanted a better power supply to properly power it even though it was working fine with the 630w power supply that i had. So I bought a 750W rosewill power supply with more amps and 80+ gold. I installed it yesterday, did some gaming. Used it a little this morning but today after I got home from work I tried to get it off sleep mode and I got a blue screen, then after it reboted I got a message saying I had a corrupted file and to run a chdsk, so I did and now the problem is gone but it leaves to wonder if my new power supply is maybe bad since it seemed to have caused hdd corruption.

Nothing to worry about unless it shows bad sectors and most likely it was due to an improper shutdown or something that lead to file corruption.
