Hello everyone viewing this thread.
I've seen many threads explaining how to check whether u can run Rome 2 or not but personally, it's like reading another language I have never studied before as I know virtually nothing about customizing computers, installing different graphics cards etc etc.
I recently came across a video on youtube and i'm not sure if it's been posted on this forums already but i found it really useful as you don't need to be experienced with computers in order to find out whether you can run Rome 2 on minimum or recommended settings.
Note: Must have latest java installed, works on windows xp,2000,2003,vista,7 and 8.
Must have Chrome, Internet explorer or firefox. (Mine worked with Firefox and not Chrome so idk if its the same story for you)
Method:
Firstly, go to this "can you run it" site (works for other games too):http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
Secondly, type in "Total War: Rome II" into the search bar and click on the name when it comes up.
Thirdly, click "can you run it" and it will come up with a menu of three options. Automatic detection, Desktop application and View requirements.
Fourthly, click "Begin Detection" near the "Automatic detection" option, must be using chrome, firefox or internet explorer. It will pick up the information from your computer and at the end of it, it will have either a tick or a cross near the minimum and recommended sections. It will also have a tick near the requirements u meet. Just above this there is a box called system requirements lab analysis and it will tell you where your computer stands in terms of minimum, recommended or lower or higher.
Now you're done, hope i helped![]()
