I have bought rome II on steam as pre order. for a some days ago i got a mail from webshop i use to shop from very mutch and reminded me of the preorder i had put in Januari for rome total war II...and of course..i had forgotten that I had allreday pre order the game, so when it will be relesed..i will have two games =) I hope my son want the other copy so we can play togheter. problem is. he Hate total war games. So i can sit on a extra copy on the relese day. but the BIG plus...i dont need to download the game. install from disk =) someone more that did the same misstake as i did?

How old is your son? Is he an avid console gamer? Does he get good grades in school?

Maybe he'd like Rome 2. I'm sure it will be different than other Total War games, so even if he didn't like (for example) Empire: Total War, he might like this one. Never hurts.

I know I'd like it if my father bought me a game and wanted me to play it with him, but maybe your son is different.

dont know. But i want the disk anyway, big game to download. And I hope i get some stuff in that fysik pre order. but if my son dont even wants to try it, I will se if someone wants to buy the cd key to steam. funny part is that i did this on empire total war to, haha. But i got 2 preorder units and the store had too many so i got one from them to. But it dont look like rome total war II will have so many pre order stuff what i have seen. I hope for a map with the disks

You can cancel your pre-order from steam via their support: https://support.steampowered.com/
The request has to be made before release day if you want to be 100% sure that you'll get refund. And if you prefer to have the physical copy of the game, you might as well cancel your steam pre-order. Unless you get your son interested in TW... I wish you were my dad.

You can ' gift away' your steam (not yet installed) pre-order. Aka just sell it!

You can give me one game. This is what's happen when people don't have what to do with money. Or better yet give the game to a modder that make mods you like, is that some of us can't spent 54 euros in a game, and even less 110.

haha, im not made of money, the only game i have paid for so far is the steam preorder, the other game will come with a bill, and that game I guess will not show up before the relese day
