Don't like the unit cards. Ugliest thing ever seen in TW since first Medieval. Also very unpractical due to bright white background that contradicts with everything else in the game, hard to distinguish, no numbers. At the moment the most obviest fail in Rome 2.

I generally like the new UI. The only one thing are the buildings icons. Instead of buildings we have now some cryptical pictures. So you don't get the feeling to build something actually, it's just that you click some not plausible hieroglyphes.

That is the point of effective Unit Cards and UI, for them to stick out to the user. It is less messy and looks 10 times better than if it blended it. It is MUCH easier on the eyes.

Dislike the new UI since it's boring and much uglier than S2's
Like the art on the unit cards (YES I DO, angry people) but I am severely disappointed that the number of men in the unit is not on them

Classic case of a number of people agreeing with each other and then agreeing that everyone else must agree with them as a consequence. TWC is hardly a place where you can easily have an opinion that goes against the grain of the majority of the core members.

For instance, I actually like the new style of unit cards. Not because they are historically accurate, not because they have a perfect background (obviously the harsh white isn't good), but because they are no longer the 'good old' boring screenshots. They actually have a style now, one that is fairly aesthetically pleasing. They could obviously be better, like changing out that white with beige or something, and making the differences between similar units more clear.
