Who are you looking forward to facing in battle?

Hello TWC folk.

just want to get some opinions on who you are looking forward to facing in your campaign.

for me, I'll be the Macedonians and I'm looking forward to taking my royal army on the field against the Scythian tribes, I think the tactics I'll need to deploy against them will be challenging (due to the cavalry scythians boast)

so who are you looking forward to facing in battle?

i cant wait to face the rebellious Arab tribes in my Egypt campaign, i really want to see how CA has portrayed them in game and what units they have

I can't wait to face Macedonia and Parthia as Rome. Although, I will help Macedonia get strong at first and then break them. Only then, after I have destroyed every hope the AI has at winning will I destroy their last settlement and enslave their people. Only then will they known the depths of the failure.

Parthia will not get such nice treatment. I will destroy them even if it costs me half my empire

When playing as the Romans, the first peoples I want to face in battle are the germanic tribes. Not because I'd be looking for any challenge, excitement, or even any serious fighting - I simply want some proof that these hugely hyped, supposedly-awesome supermen of the forests are not OP compared to my legions. For a more serious challenge & more interesting battles, I'm looking forward to facing the Carthaginians, the Gallic peoples and the Hellenic factions.

As the other 10 factions I've planned to play as, I mostly look forward to facing the Romans in battle. As Macedon and Pontus, I also want to try going east, facing both the mighty Seleucids and the fearsome cavalry fielded by the Parthians and the steppe peoples. And as Parthia, I'm looking forward to reversing the situation and facing the infantry-based armies of the west with my mounted armies.
