battle crash with MOS

i was playing TATW on 3.2 and battles was fine then i downloaded MOS 1.5 and the patch and every time i try and do a battle it crashes ,i looked around a bit and found out changing auto daylight saving time of so i did and it doesn't make a difference and i also turned off ... erm i cant remember what its called but you go on user account and change the thing where windows second guesses you and asks if you want to run things, please help. (windows 8)

Hi there and welcome to TWC Forums!

Delete two descr_geography_new files ( .db and .txt) in your ../ M2TW/ mods/ Folder where MOS is installed/ data folder.

In my signature bellow, there is a link called: "EK's Install Thread". There are images for proper installation, and these are the steps you need to do which are explained there:
1. Edit security of your main M2TW folder, and, if you have a NON STEAM version of M2TW, then, unhide hidden folders, and check VirtualStore for M2TW folder and delete it.

2. Delete manually "Folder where TATW+MOS is installed" from your main .../ M2TW/ mods folder.

3. Install TATW, if you have a non Steam version of M2TW, use the instructions for it, if you have a steam version, then use steam instructions.

4. Before installing MOS, check does TATW work, if it works, install MOS using steam or non steam instructions.

5. At the end of installation of MOS, run Cleaner.bat file, and, for battle crashes delete two descr_geography_new files again.

i did use them instructions before , is there no other way to sought this problem out because my internet speed here is rubish we have a problem with the provider so it will take 1-3 hours for each part and the mos

Why did you delete TATW and MOS Installers? You should keep them somewhere for future reinstallations at least.. Now you will have to redownload them again.

Do all your battles crash? Or just some particular one?

You could try one more thing:

1. Delete map.rwm file found in ..M2TW\ mods\ Third_Age_3\ data\ world\ maps\ base folder.
2. Go to ..M2TW\ mods\ Third_Age_3\ data\ text folder and delete 27 *strings.bin files:

o no i didnt i thought you meant i needed to re download it all from the internet again haha , i just moved all my mos folders out of the mod and now i can battle
