do calvary have a dismount option?

is that in the game? i haven't seen it in any of the videos or even talked about. but shogun 2 had it, and i think it would be a neat option.. if there was an identical thread about this i apologize, i saw one thread a few pages back about if cavalry can disembark but this is a different question. can they just dismount on the battlefield and fight.

Yes, cavalry can dismount. I know for a fact I saw the button for both Equites and a General's cavalry units during the prologue preview. So it's a pretty safe bet that the vast majority of cavalry can.
