I'm watching the prologue gameplay, and Italy looks huge! I'm loving what I see of it, but I'm not sure if it's larger scale because it's the prologue, or will the scale be this large in the grand campaign. Anyone have any insight?

We've seen what Egypt looks like, isn't that big enough? It's almost 1/5 the size of shogun 2's map.

No, italy in GC will be way way smaller (the map stretches from Iberia to Baktria, so...)

What I meant is a video that shows the scale of Italy on the actual campaign map. The only one I've seen is Suebi, and it didn't show Italy.

As everyone else has said there is no way they would release a game with a map that big. There are around 20 regions in mid Italy. But it does bring interesting hope. If modders could zoom in on areas like that they could make 4 tpy maps.

Because the previews show it to be much smaller than the prologue scale.
We wish the scale was larger and hence more regions but it is not.
