Those pieces of land you want to conquer have quite the distance between them. Organisational nightmare if you ask me.
I just want to gain control of the entire Italian peninsula including Sicily and the islands and just use it as my mainland. Alps keep me safe from up above. From here, I just make an ally or vassal in Germania and help them conquer. I'll send a few legions up from time to time to sack and put people in their places. Take it really slow at that point really.

Playing as Rome first... will take over Italy, then hopefully make an alliance with Egypt (but will backstab one day...) and then take on the gauls and perhaps into Spain. Then Carthage! Also quite fancy going into Greece fairly early, that was always my favourite in Rome 1 - the regions were quite wealthy compared to in Gaul.

As Rome I will first wipe out the Etruscans, before building a reasonable navy and occupying Corsica. From that point i'll push north into Cisaplina before launching my war against Carthage and taking all of North Africa. Next would be Iberia, Greece, Thracia, and Asia Minor, before finally launching my invasion of Gaul and Britannia.
I will also reconquer Alexander the Greats empire, except playing as Epirus

As Egypt I'll secure Libue first as a buffer to the West and then expand East and South until I reach Mesopotamia and conquer Babylon
