Please release the preview code as a demo!

First of all CA, thank you for all the information, you've really spoiled us the last few weeks. However gratefull I am, It wont stop me from asking for more.

I've read about that preview code which you have given developers, featuering the prologue, would it be too much to ask it released to the public as a demo?

As it seems, the code features an independent campaign with only a couple of factions, all the same cultures, so while it might be modded to hell, it certainly wont enable us to "crack" or unlock the full game, which means that it shouldn't eat up sales. On the contrary, as always, once we've had a little, we want even more. I can really only speak for myself here, but I don't think that you should release a demo so that we can test and judge the game, most of us has already preorderet a long time ago, we just needs to something to kill the waiting time! Because goddaminit, there's only a month left but it still feels like an eternity! So if anything, see it as a present to the community, or like a drop of glucose to someone who is out of sugar.

If you need to fill the time untill september 3 you could play some Europa Universalis 3 and 4 till release like i do. Its a very good strategy game really.

I think this could be a good idea, or maybe at least give it to people who pre-ordered.

But I suspect they're more worried about people getting the prologue and then picking it apart by complaining about this or that, and vocally screaming about how the AI is bad or the pathfinding sucks more than was promised, and that all of this could drive down sales.
