The gamestar was the best and most usefull source of information in the past months. finally some clear explanations on the new mechanics. CA was a bit too vague. And I was constantly doubting if I should cancel my pre order or not. At least now I know how the game works and understand some mechanics they hyped.
The game will be good I like how when you choose to autoresolve you can at least tell your army to be defensive or agressive etc...
Don't know if you understand German but they basically said: As the live trailer showed us there whas more political intrigue in Ancient rome Than in Silvio Berlusconi's Whirlpool.
It's German humour and I think it's funny

You're around an 2 hours to late my friend.
So Dutch, Germans.
Come on English speaking countries you can do it
One of those technologies is "professional soldiery." I wonder if they've done away with the random Marian reforms, and instead they will occur when the required number of military technologies have been researched. Interesting.

The horse when you speed up an armies march looks much less weird over longer distances than it did when it was about 3 seconds in the nile e3 video. That auto resolve animation was pretty cool too!

Can someone translate any new information or comments made by reviewers?

I can tell you what the pcgames mag digged up regarding the AI:
The total war AI was always bad in the series. In Rome1 you could kill the enemy formations with just archers while they are just standing. The Lead AI guy at the event told us that solving this problem is hard as well in Rome2 because implementing the units which are under arrow fire to retreat would look stupid.
WTF?

Speak a proper language damn you!
After seeing all this awsome videos I don't really know what the usual ranters and whiners could say about the game now. I really see foward to it. This Rome will be kiking ass.
Were you able to understand the language? Did you see the AI troops marching while getting stabed from behind from the human player? It looks ridiciolus. If they would retreat it would be understandable. But to walk (!!!!) away from a ingoing charge and receive it in the back? Well cheers.
