Default Slaves and Helots in Rome 2?

I didn't find info about it. Will be they in Rome 2? I know that is hard and controversial subject of ancient period, but they are important if Spartacus revolt will be in game. Could somebody answer?

Yes slaves will be a resource in Rome 2. I dont recall there being any talk of slave revolts particularly, but IIRC CA said that if a province has public order issues, the region with the highest unrest would revolt...Could be slaves, could be the original indingeous population of whatever province you've conquered.

I think that Helots should be very important in Spartan campaign. Spartans shouldn't exist without Helots.

They are in the game in some form, whether the Spartans have units like neodamōdeis or peltasts remains to be seen

Helots will just be called slaves in the game. Sparta will have some bonus called Helot Repression or something that gives them extra repression against slaves.

I think that Helots, Perioikoi, Spartans will be better than Slaves, Helots and Spartans.

Helots (Lacedemonians + Messenians), Perioikoi (free lacedemonians), Ypomeiones (Spartans semi-equals)) and Homoioi (Spartan equals) in detail.

I don't know the answer to this one but what about the so-called "Messenian Periokoi" - are they native Messenians or colonists?

There will indeed be servile revolts, I believe CA have confirmed it on a number of occasions.

I will enslave all those foolish factions like Suebi, Arverni, Iceni and sand monkey factions like Egypt, Parthia, Seleucids definitely, maybe go for a playthrough just enslaving all cities.

Do you think that slingers, archers should be slaves units?
