The little thing mods are missing...

I played alot of mods. But very little of the reskined units have gloss, and this kinda upsets me

!! My favorite mod unit would be the spartan skin featured in the spqr mod, but due to lack of gloss, it made the unit lacking. So my question is, how do you make gloss, and 2, can the future reskin teams add gloss for eye-candy?

. If so it would make those units look great.

Glosses tend to make lower end spec systems struggle more plus, hence some teams dont bother making them as for tutorials im sure theres one around somewhere not sure where off the top of my head tho

I assume most modders don't have time for adding such features. EB 0.8 has already taken way too long to come out, and I don't think glossy soldiers are much of a priority.

O well i guess I have to make gloss my self, do you need photoshop or things like that? (I have photoshop)

you need photoshop, but you also need to know a few things, such as how to make them! Go visit the modding resources for some good gloss tutorials.

I can also make them on the fly, did it for the vanilla barb invasion

Look in the tutorials and walkthroughs section - there is a tutorial there. If you cant find it, I also think it is in the modding catalogue in the Scriptorium. I think the tutorial is for photoshop, but you could probably apply the techniques to freeware like GIMP
