Roman teeth problem in game
I just saw the screenshot of Romans versus Samnites again, Buth one thing i noticed immediately was that the romans didn't had all teeth in their mouth, they only get one or two teeth in their mouth.
I know theeth hygiene wasn't very good at all but shouldn't they get more teeth in their mounth then only one or two?

I agree, except....the horses and elephants should be crapping everywhere on the battlefield, actually the dead should void their bowls as well. Crap needs to be in the game!Its official we are out of things to complain about

Fact: Roman soldiers earned a tooth for every year of faithful service to the state.
It is clear, some of the soldiers on the screen were recent levies, who have served only 2-3 years.

Correct, when enlisting in the Roman army the recruit had all his teeth pulled out by his centurion, from then he had to earn them back one tooth a year for a total of 32 years service. This was done to discourage desertion ("You can run, but I got your teeth!") and to make the soldiers appreciate a diet of gruel and soup. It was also used as a visible sign of veterancy.

Historically this is correct as in Roman times we had not evolved beyond a simple 2 teeth chewing mechanism.
The full mouth of teeth is a relatively new development with the first recorded instance over 1000 years later in 1106.
