Default Am I the only one that finds Rome 2 Collectors Edition poor?

I recently built myself a real mancave.
I lack decorations and thought that the collector edition would include a nice big map or a flag.
The onager is cool to have at the desk but the rest.....

Make the price higher but please for the love of baby Jesus gimme some T-shirts and posters.
I wanna have Rome 2 socks ffs!

Im not happy with the collectors edition

On a sidenote: I cant find any official Rome 2 merchandise, like muggs, mousepad and clothes.....

I wanna dress myself up in Rome 2 clothes and drink my beer from a Rome 2 cup!
I wanna decorate my cars with Rome 2 stickers!
I wanna I wanna!, the possibilities are endless!

GIMME A KEYCHAIN! or a dogcollar!

Not poor , its just tought for a kid audience , they get the toy catapult to throw small little stones to toy soldiers , the easy greekstyle pottery cards to play with friends at school , and some other coins plastic stuff to share with other kid friends .

The whole game has the feel of toy low aged orientation to me .

They should put a piece of the Coliseum in every Collector's Edition box. Nothing more, nothing less...

Yes, especially when it's priced so high that the only way one can afford it is to sell their own kidney.

Even if the Onager is functional and you can catapult M&M's into your mouth or marbles at your spouse?

The map is the only thing I REALLY REALLY want.

The onager looks cool, but whatever.

Who gives a crap about the card game. Why am I gonna play a card game when I have Rome II?

There's not a chance in hell I would pay $180 for this though. Maybe $80 at most.

    Yeah thats what I mean.
A big poster and a big map that you can put on the wall would be better.
A Prom said, must be for the kids at school who buys this, I mean cards and ....

I remember the days when you bought a FULL game with a poster map inside.

The wall map is the only interesting item there, but I'm sure we'll be able to print our own out soon.

CA would benefit from a merchandise store.
I would by a collection of china and force my wife and kids to eat from Rome 2 plates.
Mini gladiuses (or gladae or whate its in plurar) as knifes and tridents as forks.

Slave clothing for my daughter and wife.
    I see possibilities here.......

That I would definately do either! And neither my wife nor my daughter can do anything to avoid it
Though slave clothing wouldn't work ... unfortunately

I didn't see the point in buying the collectors adition to be honest, you already get the Greek City pack if you pre-puchase via Steam, so that seemed good enough for me.

Would be funny if Rome 2 is worst then Empire, then you would have a ton of stuff for a bad game.

    Julius Geezer!

Or at least a copy of the Life of Brian...

And make it a Director's Cut that features an explanation of how the Life of Brian is more historically accurate than Rome 2.

I'm not a fan of recent Collector's Edition that have the equivalent of a paper weight. I would prefer an art book or 'making of' book.

Agreed, I think the gta collectors edition is decent, you get a sweet Los santos hat (clothing) keyring (we all love a keyring) MAP, steel book with artwork etc etc stuff we will actually use, I agree, CA have gone for the kids attention with that one for some reason
