    Default Castles problem

Hello everyone. I am fairly new to the 6.4 SS. But I dont know if it was dropped ar anything, but I cannot seem to find or see or create any castles/citadels (in both late and early campaigns). Is this supposed to happen? The game is not showing me any options for castles in the building trees whatsoever.
I am sorry if this question is irrelevant, but I couldnt find any info in these here forums. If anyone could clear it up for me, that would be great.

oh, and I am using Meneth's sub-mod package with almost everything turned off (only Savage UI, LLaP and Son of X turned on)

    thanks a bunch

Before installing the Meneth's Sub-Mod Compilation,I could also make cities from castles, and castles from cities. Now with his sub-mod compilation, you can't do it,you ask why? I don't really know but it has to do with his sub-mods.

Menethps sub mod compilation includes the sub mod "One Settlement Type" which turn all the castles into ciites, however you can now recruit all units there, its just about deciding what the orientations of your settlements are.

How can you do that? I just seem to build everything it gives me..does it affect my unit pool, or the units I have available to recruit?

Basically, his submod like I said earlier combines Castles and Cities together. Now, it is up to you to decide how a settlement will be oriented, either militarily or economically. If you want the city to be a military recruiting center, then focus on military buildings. If you want it to be an economic center, then focus on the economic buildings. That was what the other poster was trying to tell you.

You can build all the buildings that you want and your unit pools shouldn't be affected if I recall correctly.
