hey guys, i just installed rome and total realims mod! i know i can improve the unit size in a certain .txt file! is it preferences? and what is the limit?
=> i want the max. possible unit size!
therefore i have to chose "huge" in the options and i have to put the max. possible in that certain file right? or is there anyting new how to get larger units?
a short description would be very helpfull!
and do i have to start a new game or does it effect saved games?

setting it to huge will make it that some of the units (notably phalangites) get 240 regulars soldiers, which is the maximum the game supports, iirc...
So no fiddling with the files needed, unless you want ALL units to sport 240 men, which will bring balance issues...

Max is 240 + 3 officers, anything bigger will cause a crash.

I have a file that makes all infantry type units(except missile units) to have 240 men each. That is if you want an SPQR type gameplay for RTRPE 1.6. Massive battles. However, the upkeep are still the same so stack spamming for AI wont happen... unless they are twice as large as the Seleucid Empire.
