The historical battles seem too fake in the sense that they have scripted elements in.
Show off some new AI and point it out.
I believe Jack did something like that for Empire, when he did a 1 vs 1 against the Ai and pointed out new AI elements.

the semi - scripted battles are few in number too, and it seems a demon from hell will consume them if they press End Turn, haven't done that yet.
