Ask for confirmation of ladders,scorpios, ramps etc. What will be all the siege features?

In the last pics, we see again a siege city but we had very few informations on the siege items that will be in the game.
We know that we have balistas, assault towers and battering rams. But we don't know if we will have catapults onto the walls of the cities, which types? We didn't see any scorpios yet for example. Another thing I am worrying a lot about, at the beginning of the work on Rome 2, Jack Lusted said to us that there will be ladders for assault: in each pic we saw about siege there are absolutly no ladders. Once again will we have ropes, spidermans or worst: infantry that can't attack walls at all??? Ladders are a very immersive feature for assault, it would be such a pity that, once again, we were deprived of them.
A last thing, will there be ramps like those the romans build?

PS: a ingame screenshot with soldiers on ladders would make my day...

I believe they've said there won't be ladders in sieges for R2, but it's too early for me to remember a source for this.

Also you should remove those links, they've already been removed by mods in other threads.

NO "i believe", only source from CA (or preview) please. Many said ladders are confirmed. I read a preview of carthage many months ago that there are ladders.

I agree it's disappointing. I'm not sure what the reason for this is or if one was even given. I believe they said it in an interview.

CA said there would be ladders and CA apparently said there wont be ladders, I am betting on no ladders.

Perhaps CA did a survey like they did for sieges and found that most people did not like ladders.

One of the lead game designers said in a Rezzed interview there will be siege ladders. Other than that I haven't seen any confirmation. I'll try look up the video itself.

Well it is the rapier sharp kind of wit you expect from TWC.

But anyway, yey ladders. I wonder if there are animations or stabbing people off ladders? I would make direct assaults with them much harder since the people on them are so vulnerable.

The information about the absence of ladders came from me; my friend attended E3 and specifically asked whether they'd be in sieges. She was told that there would be no ladders, except those inside siege towers, by Will. I hope that the answer given at Rezzed means that, in fact, there will be both ladders and siege towers as separate deployables, rather than being a rather ambiguous way of saying the same thing that Will said.
