Some please post a freaking LINK!
Thanks for a good read
Love reading all the professional analyzing done by the TWC whine corps.
I wonder how do they get so much info from a translated German text?
I wanna be a psychic too when I grow up.

Welp, time to prepare your pockets for DLC's
when i read the posts i wanna laugh!you discuss the gameplay before the game has been released.Wait for the game to come out, then comment. You must relly on information from your gameplay experience, not some unrelying magazine!
Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

Well most people want to know what they're buying. If they would just give us a decent demo most people would be relieved and could make their own impression. But since we get no other footage people try to work with this. Of course the magazine is unreliable, but some folks don't want to spend 50 bucks on a game with completely crappy AI. CA claimed before every new Total War release the AI would be overhauled/improved, and they never really lived up to their promises. Now it's the same talk all over again, and if a magazine raises concerns about this, it's no wonder people get nervous.
If the AI is bad, there is a simple fix: be worse than the AI. It comes naturally to me, so I'm not worried.
But seriously, do we really think the AI will be any worse than it has been in the past? I see a lot of overreaction here.
Well I decided to unsubscribe. This battle leads to nothing new and arguments are repeated like a broken LP thanks mirelicus.
Have fun. See you around in another thread.
I wonder what the optimistic party will post if some statements will be repeated after game release by the party of the concerned.

Many of my past contributions in the time from 2011-2017 will contain content that now show broken links. Unfortunately I had to delete all pictures linked on TWC that were hosted on imageshack.us. Read why
If you are missing anything of interest, please let me know. Sorry for any inconvinience caused.
Mirelicus, Many people really care about this game and dont want to see it rushed by a deadline. The AI is pretty important for TW veterans who feel they have not been given a real challenge yet to this day. And yes you can have an opinion if you diddnt play the game. More people have posted on this game then Shogun 2 which came out 2 years ago.

This is so true.
Nice to see people have moved on from earlier discussions and are now accepting that people have different opinions and wishes for this game.
Oh wait.
I just beg for the day when CA actually decides to increase the community role during the development process. You know, actually "use us" in order to decide what needs to go, what needs to be added, how much historical accuracy we want, do we want more graphics or the same graphics but an increase on the number of troops and the size of maps?.
I always had the bad feeling that the AI will be retarded with the naval invasion but here we go... btw, even in shogun 2 the cavalry was not THAT retarded.
one month from release and they are going to fix all this? yea no way, hopefully patches would fix things the last thing we need is the horrible... HORRIBLE empire AI.
Christ, you know what I just thought of? This new line of sight is going to screw up the AI even more than before. I hope they don't send any random units off to some corner looking for you even when you are clearly at the front gates. Also there might be a small chance that this turns into a hide a go seek if it's a small time battle. I don't know how the system works but I have my doubts after this article.
If so than it's one of those cheap features that give the AI a greasy advantage. Like in some first person shooters the AI can see you from miles away when even a hawk wouldn't be able to. Why have it in if the AI doesn't use it? I want a genuine experience without the AI getting messed up like tangled spaghetti.
