    Default Zweihanders

Hello, there. I'm quite new to these forums, and would like two questions explained.

First, can someone explain to me why exactly Zweihanders (14/11) cost so much? They are 680 florins each, but seem to equal the English's Heavy Bill Militia (15/10). I ran a few tests, and can confirm that the battles are always down to the wire, and the Zweihanders only pull a win through their "Good Morale Trait", which the Bill Militia lack. The problem is, Heavy Bill Militia only cost 300 florins each. If anything, I think the Zweihander cost needs to be halved, down to 340 florins, a much more reasonable price for what are basically glorified bills with better armour.

Second, what is with the cost disparity between some units? Take, for example, Dismounted Latinkon versus Dismounted Feudal Knights - both with the exact same traits and stats, only the Latinkon is 60 florins more expensive. Are adjustments like these simply to balance the faction as a whole, or am I missing something?

Maybe the high cost of Zweihanders is because of their stylishness. Which type of weapon would you use in a computer game: a bad ass two-handed sword, or a kitchen knife stuck on a pole?

The unit prices are just ridiculous in general in the game. I mean, some factions have everything really overpriced, and others have them really underpriced. It's kind of absurd.

My favorite is Norse Axemen and Berdiche Axemen: the same unit, except Norse Axemen start with one higher armor level (and 1 higher heat fatigue): they have the same final armor level. Berdiche? 380 florins. Norse? 700.

Anyway, I suspect that CA had some sort of plan to give certain later period shield-less 2-hander units a boost that they never ultimately got. Afflicted units include a lot of late period shield-less cavalry (broken lances, demi-lancers, famiglia ducale, gendarmes, gothic knights, lancers) and some infantry (dismounted gothic knights, forlorn hope, zwei hander). Note: I don't think 2-handers were intended to be boosted this way. Billmen are probably about as powerful as intended.
