    Default Mongol campaign

I intend to start the Mongol campaign in Gracul AI, VH/VH, BRG-IV.

I think the percentage of winning this campaign is extremely low, even impossible. But I still want to try.

Anyone have played before? Or any idea to support this kind of challenge.

If you play with them, I suggest you to chose wisely your conquest and to expand toward Russia and not Egypt.
The description Last of the Romans (Ultimus Romanorum) has historically been given to any man thought to embody the values of Ancient Roman civilization —values which, by implication, became extinct on his death. It has been used to describe a number of individuals.
Flavius Belisarius (505?–565), one of the greatest generals of the Byzantine Empire and one of the most acclaimed generals in history. He was also the only Byzantine general to be granted a Roman Triumph.

Can one succeed playing a predominantly landlocked campaign without the income that the trade that sea ports would provide....

The losses inflicted by the Egyptian army will be much important than the gains from the ports.
And it's easy to be rich without port is for example the case of Poland. Anyway Mongolian may take the ports of the Black Sea.

Late era K-Shah can one-shot the Mongols via Jihad. They are not a horde faction in Late. Don't know how hard BGR would make this though.

BGR would make it very hard.Mongols are not horde in Late Campaign but they get reinforcements in first 20 turns (Blue horde reaches Caucasus event).

It can be yes because the Kwarezmians are automatically at war with the Mongols when the game starts. As a result, they have more or less no time to prepare for the Mongols and their many stacks and the Mongols will focus on the Kwarezmians as a result. Usually, the Cumans can have time to prepare a stack or two to help fight the Mongols.

The Mongols are even scripted to take the first city from Khwarezmians, at least in late era definitely. The cumans might somehow be also able to ally mongols because of the religion similarities.
