What do you wish to see after Rome 2 ?

As you all know after releasing big titles CA always supports that tittle with big expansions or new games.Those new titles always focuses on a timeline whics is similar to the last game so which one do you think it should be and why ?

Ancient Total War

A total war game which covers the Ancient times.Players can rule nations like Pharoh's Egypt,Summerians,Greek States or Hitities.Make large scale wars and build the epic monuments of the ancient times.

Caesar Total War

Just like Napoleon (it was a new game actually) a campaing which focuses the events of the Caesar's time and the events around Marcus Aurelious and Cleopatra.

Alexander Total War

Something like Alexander Total war.

Barbarian Invasion

Something like the old expansion.

Far East Total War

A game which covers the wars in ancient China.


I am %100 sure that we will see expansions or new games related to Roman Era but maybe CA release completely diffrent titles like...

Medieval 3

Third game of the series.

Empire 2

Fixed Empire Total war game with improvements on map and gameplay.

Or maybe another title comes to your mind ?

I will like to see Barbarian Invasion in three big scenarios. 1. Third century crisis, 2. Konstantine- Julian Apostate era and 3. Justinian era.

We already have julius ceasar and barbarians in the game... I just hope some barbarians like huns, goths will just emerge in the game so we wont need barbarian invasion anymore...

what i think is they will make "The Roman Empire" expansion area from 30 A.D till 475 A.D the Fall Of Rome.
and please nothing else but roman era, no dark no ancient no nothing only ROME from start till the ENDD!!!

Those are all too similar to Rome total war, I want a medieval 3. With the new engine the textures would be so awesome.

Maybe Native American Total War: Play the wars between different Indian tribes(maybe including South American Indians like Aztecs) and eventually try to stop the European invasions.

Medieval 2, in my opinion, is the best strategy game I have ever played. Medieval 3 would be nice, but more than that, I would like a "Dark Age: Total War" or something, starting from or after Justinianus I's campaigns to reclaim the western half of the Empire. Another good starting point would be the dawn of Islam or the sacking of Lindisfarne 793 Anno Domini.
If it has to be gunpowder again, 16th-17th century would be a great option, in my opinion, having both Thirty Years War and the colonization of Americas in it.

It will require too much work and probably cant be made as a expansion but wouldt it be good to play a Ancient Total war and rule as god-kings build pyrimds wage ancient wars and create new civizilations ?

As expansions for Rome II, I'd like to see heavily improved versions of both Barbarian Invasion and Alexander, the expansions of RTW. A Peloponnesian Wars campaign would be pretty neat as well.

As the next TW game, I'd want to see an Ancient/Bronze Age Total War. It's an interesting era which is almost completely ignored in video games, sadly.

Pretty much anything else goes for me though, as long as it's not Medieval 3. I mean, there's already so many games out there that are set in this so-called "high" medieval period, and that era's getting old fast gotten old already. So I don't want to see that anymore, to me it would feel like beating a horse which has already been beaten to death long ago.

That said, something either a little earlier or a little later would be nice, though. Earlier as in 600-900 CE, or later as in 1450-1650 CE. Or, if the developers absolutely have to go high-medievalish, at least they could include some fantasy elements then - be it low fantasy akin to the setting of Mount & Blade, or high fantasy like that Warhammer universe they even have the license for.
