Faction groups speculation

Seeing this confirmed leaves no doubts in my mind that most dlc will be groups of factions, im guessing that at first it will be additions to groups that currently have one faction, then there will be something unique like stepp tribes or hispanic tribes. I honestly would hope for an african or arabian tribe or kingdom first for even wider variation in play styles and culture.

I think it's obvious they'll release an eastern states pack eventually: Seleucid Empire, Armenia, Bactra - along with the already present Parthians

Then maybe a Barbarian pack of some sort involving Iberian tribes, an additional gaulic and german tribe.

One can assume that many more factions will be added later on because of the way that they are grouped in the recent video. Apart from DLCs, can there also be unlockables?

Where is the "Greek City States" category for Athens, Sparta and Epirus? I doubt that they can be considered Successor Kingdoms.

That's what was engraved on the loots Alexander sent back from his Asia campaign to the temple as gift for Gods.

The Reason is before Asia campaign begin, Alexander sent a message to Sparta asked they to follow him or he will level Sparta to the ground. Sparta reply "Neither". And Alexander really didn't touch Sparta at all and leave them be.

I am thinking the DLC's will be cultural-faction packs, and perhaps each dlc will include 2-3 factions based on region and culture. Hopefully, some new units and even skins will do some justice to each pack, with the inclusion of some new units and skins to spice it up.

I think factions will appear in culture packs as well as single factions based on the fact there's a greek city states pack as well as the stand alone pontus one. CA seems to like Factions that had historical wars with Rome so i'm guessing that anyone they fought with is going to get faction priority like the seleukids, lusitanians, illyrians, numidians, etc.

I am guessing there will be a barbarian pack and an eastern pack. The north and east are pretty empty as it stands right now.

The selucids would be a sucsesor kingdom NOT an eastern faction, Armenia and Bactria would be eastern factions (as of right now there is only one playable eastern faction and one playable Germanic faction

Armenia yes, but Bactria is clearly a sucsessor faction.

Greeks weren't in this preview, probably because they aren't in the base game but added content.

If you preordered or purchase the Greeks, then I'd wager there's a "Hellenistic City-States" tab that houses Athens, Sparta and Epirus.

There definitely seems like there will be an Eastern Empires addition, with Baktria and Armenia at least, and a Barbarian addition. There are some columns with only one faction, and that seems odd to me.
