    OK so here is the thing, patch 3.1 fixed many crash bugs but the thing is there is still something that needs imiedate attention.

    The fact that siege towers and rams get destroyed in 2 arrow hits really need to be changed. It's pretty much game breaking for factions that don't have siege equipment, such as the deku schrubs and the lizalfos sense I heard there catapult is useless (unless that has been fixed)

    Custom settlments don't seem to work right, out of the ones I have tested you can't use artillery, latters, or towers to assault the walls, you can still put soldiers on the wall. This needs to be fixed

    Crashing-People are still having trouble with crash bugs

    Aquo4 figured out how to fix the UI problems, that means the UI's can be fixed.

    Now I thought that I would get that out of me sense im posting a thread but here is the real message I wanted to say. lately we have been posting way to many threads, it seems like some people post a thread about every big bug they find, the bug center or technical issue's forum would be a much better place for that

    Hey, guys

    To relieve Neph of some work, here's my version of Rams, Siege Towers, Walls, Towers, etc.

    It makes sieges what they are: difficult. You will need siege equipment (rams, towers, etc), but they aren't as frail as you guys are making them sound. Walls, Towers, and Gates have more health, but their defensive weapons are weaker (about 50% weaker).

    Please tell me if this makes sieges better or worse.

    INSTALLATION:
    Just extract the files to the Hyrule/data folder. Overwrite all files.

    I agree that rams and towers are suppose to be weak, but in version 3.1 they are MUCH weaker then they are suppose to be and completely worthless, at least from what I have heard, haven't tested them out myself

    I'm not certain that this is the source of the "unattackable wall" problem for all settlements, but I spent a lot of time fighting over Ashinon and this is what I've found out. The "walls" are recognized and treated by the game as "buildings." Now, back in the days of Rome Total War, weapons like catapults could target pretty much whatever the hell you wanted. In the Med. 2 engine, however, the only objects on the battle map that are properly destructable are gates and walls. The thing is, even if it serves the function of a wall, you can't target anything that the game engine recognizes as "buildings." This means that any siege equipment (catapults, ladders, towers, etc) can't target them, and even if you hit it with a lot of stray catapult projectiles while trying to pelt the troops on the "building," you can't do any damage to it or create any sort of breach; your only option is to ram gates, which the AI at least really just doesn't want to do.

    I'm not sure if there is the same reason that some of the other custom settlements aren't working right in battles, but I only have my own experiences to draw from at this point. Can anyone else confirm or deny what I'm saying? (mouse-over the "walls" and see if the game calls them walls or buildings)

    Yeah the walls are bugged, very simple mistake on my part actually.

    Gor Goronon works, but the walls are a little to short. The ladders are to big so it looks ridiculous.

    Fun fact, it was the opposite for me. Ladders were ridiculously short on gor goronon ^^

    Jumping into the thread, let's make some points clear:

    First off, awesome work as usual, Neph! I love this new version and the new custom settlements made my jaw drop.

    My question comes now... any ideas on the turn 15 crash? I started a Labrynna campaign and I had to drop it down due to those inevitable crashes. Funny thing is, a Kokiri campaign seems to have executed the event of the River Zora without a problem...

    Hey Holy Pilgrim Good fix! out of 2 towers one managed to make it to the wall ( I was playing as Darknuts) Against a castle. It was still a good challenge to try to take it. Your fix made it alot better. I tested it in a custom battle

    I'm kinda surprised to hear about Labrynna crashes, because I'm on turn 40 with them and not having any problems (aside from the Lizalfos being pests, anyway )

    The walls or Gor Goronon and Ashihon are so short that latters and towers are much bigger. So will we get a new patch fixing this? Or perhaps one latter fixing multiple bugs? Im not trying push you neph to do more work after all the work you have spent, I just would like to know if you are planning one
