Yeah, I just realize everyone may want to attack the Blachernae.
Let's wait and see what Bohemund de Lusignan wants to do. You guys did elect him as commander.

He was elected by a slim majority. That large minority would probably have plans on their own. I think a plan like that would spice things up for the start. Draw the line in the sand so to speak.
Well historically, that's how Constantinople was taken.
They took Blachernae first, attacking aquatically from the Golden Horn.
They used it as a launching point to take the rest of the city.
They also ended up burning down half of the city in a (possibly intentional) fire started in the Deuteron district.
Tancred will join you, bf.
I'll join you if you need me, but for a sneak attack I'd think that a minor force would be better.
Yeah, that's why I should probably only ally with one person.
if there is a problem with me questioning to much and it's hampering progress, I will just kind of blend end until the battle is over.
Well, the entirety of the crusade is corrupt, so I doubt the words of a few knights will deter them.
Early Bush doctrine. There is no concern about the population. As we remember in the last siege of 1203, the citizens of Constantinople were rioting against their Byzantine Emperors. In fact, there has been smoke rising from within the city. The citizens must hate these Angelus Emperors! We will be like liberators to them, my fellow Crusaders! We will be like Constantine who liberated the Empire from the grasp of Maximian, Licinus and Maximinius Daia!

Okay, so since taking Constantinople will be a large endeavor, we'll do it in 'parts'.
Like this as a title thread:
"Attack on Constantinople, 1204: Part 1, Blachernae"
I'm going to have to find someone to "follow" so to speak for this battle, anyone want a zealous Ricco Suave as a captain?
I could use one. My guy is a priest with his own retainers. He will be with them, but he really shouldn't be leading them in battle. Likely my men will be attached to BF's larger force for the North-Eastern assault.
Hmm...or perhaps not? Your character seems to be holier than my priest! I'm not sure if Rico would work for a man like my Father Orsini!
I could take him.
It's only for the fight, I plan on rping the battle that hopefully my prowess on the field earns him enough recognition to strike out as a man of some newly found renown. Fighting for father Orsini might not be a bad idea for the battle. It would mesh with what I'm trying to do with Ricco anyway
Then jump in mate.
I will as soon as I know what kinda humble following I have accrued so I know how to proceed
Same here, kind of dying painful of expectation, checking in every ten minutes.... No guilt trip just saying is all
