I am confused
Are castles and town the same now? i see you can upgrade town and build something called a keep or was it a ward first? Anyway i know both have different effects but on some twon which have pre built castles i cant change the tax but Ive had no issues upon upgrading the ward.

First off I would like to remind you that you shouldn't post a thread about every issue. Second off I noticed this to, im pretty sure its not suppose to be that way and settlements are not suppose to be classified as cities or castles.

Re: I am confused
I'm not sure if it is supposed to be this way or not. As Jakeford said in the Bug Center, Neph's system of settlement upgrades is already implemented, which should eliminate the need for the difference between towns and castles. However, there are still cosmetic differences on the battle map which makes castles more difficult to take. Until these castles are replaced by custom settlements, Neph might want to keep them. I don't know; I gotta ask him.

West: Foranar- Azurita - The Redeemer - Sinteiria - Sakotae the Guardian (Tavia) - Saleria
East: Nerise - Kiril

Thanks I really like how Neph is doing it. Everything he has done is so different from every other fantasy mod Ive played. Plus Im bit of a zelda Fan. I thought I was big into the games then i read some of the post here and wow its amazing how deep people have gone into this. Its just amazing.
No need to ask Im good with tis responce. I can wait till custom settlements get implemented. I like the cosmetics. It adds flavor to the campaign map.

I would also like to mention that the settlements that use the castle model cant change the tax level like in the normal game. other than that the only current difference is the battle model.
