Historical Family Members
As you all know, Total War has a tradition of including historical generals in the family trees/general pool.
Which personalities are you looking forward to in Medieval2:Total War? Personally I would like to see a repeat of these characters, some of which were in the original
Vlad Tepes (ultimate adversary of the Turks) Wallachia is rebel I presume
El Cid (was an easily bribed rebel in Valencia, hoping for a repeat)
Jean d'Arc (going to be interesting to see if females can be generals in M2:TW)
Richard the Lionhearted (Almost a certainty)
Robin Hood (assassin or spy I remember an old Koei game where you could enlist him)

Re: Historical Family Members
I think Robin Hood would be a rebel commander... he was fighting against the English crown. It would be cool to see him ambushing armies in the Nottingham forest and to have a super high dread and command rating.
Besides the ones you posted.
Saladin - Most likely will be in it, especially if Richard is.
Marco Polo - Italian Merchant Unit?
Gilles de Rais - Homicidal buther of children, but also Constable of France and companion to Joan of Arc during the 100 Years War.
William Wallace - I'm sorry it must be done, and yes because of Braveheart.
- Frederick Barbarossa
- Ivan the Terrible, founder of the Romanoff Dynasty
- Alexander Nevsky
- Christopher Columbus
- Cortez

I never understood why el Cid was a rebel in MTW.Jeanne d'Arc , Richard and barbarossa will probably be in the historical battles.
