    Default Rams are basically useless.

Now that quite a few towns are high leveled settlments, rams became utterly useless because two fire arrows would destroy the ram and kill 10 units. I understand that making fire arrows do less damage is a bad idea, but would it be possible to make the Siege Equipment more durable? Sieges are nigh impossible in the early game since Rams only take 2 arrows and Towers only takes 3.

I also noticed this. It won't affect me too much, as my strategy generally involves letting the enemy sally forth and then surrounding them, rather than getting bogged down in streets, but it is still a little annoying, especially if I want to rush a small town rather than wait 4+ turns. I'm guessing this is to give more use to the units like heroes and Goron Rams who can attack walls and gates.

The bit about Goron Rams and more heroes is a fair point, but then again, Twili can't get Argorok in the campaign and it's awhile before they can start making an actual army. I've tried waiting them out before, but they just stay inside like a bunch of wusses and shoot arrows from the tops of the walls.

I don't think you understand what waiting them out means. it means you don't assult the settlement, you siege in for 5 or so turns intell they starve out or sally fourth and try to fight your army away

but that takes forever. and I am not a patient man when it comes to taking settlements. I think the idea about being able to improve rams is good. otherwise I have to rely on cannons good old cannons. speaking of how does the darknut ram hold up?

That's the best espically with blockades

Here's a fine example of this bullcrappery:
I was playing as the Twili, and was sieging the city settlement in the Twilight Realm: It was populated entirely by Twili Sorceresses. I had two ladders and a ram, yet failed to get through, because when I tried to climb up onto the wall, the sorceresses would just cast in a really high, narrow arc. I literally could not take that settlement no matter what in that situation.

I was trying to use a siege tower as the stalfoes and two fire arrows destroyed my tower in 2 hits I dont think it matters which engine you use they all get destroyed. except ladders

Ladders do get destroyed, a single, well placed arrow can send your ladder from standing against a wall, to lying on the ground in the same form, just utterly useless.

Guys you must realize that evtremely weak rams aren't intentional, it is a bug that rose up in this version of the game. Im personally going to wait for another bug fixing patch to come out before I start a campaign.

On a small side-note. Sol Cannons: "Very Weak Against Troops" *has one many battles using nothing but Sol Cannons*

I haven't tried it in this version yet, but I was able to destroy walls with Sol Cannons in the previous version. You just had to get the thing very close to the wall... I hope you have meat shields.

EDIT: I just took Elmenzhia (or however you spell it) on turn 3. The Sol Cannons did destroy the walls. This was actually a very easy settlement to take. What you have to do is set up your army so that the Sol Cannons are placed on opposite flanks of the city while your army is still at the main gate. My initial plan was a gamble. I believed that the AI would still have most of their forces at the main gate, as that is where my army was placed. I hoped that by the time they realized that I was moving the Sol Cannons next to the gates, it would be too late. Well, the AI did place their units where I expected, but instead of trying to down the Sol Cannons, they figured that they were surrounded and ran back to the city center. Needless to say, I broke down the walls unopposed and swarmed them with shadow bugs and kargoroks. I lost all of 70 men. I'll take it.
